It is with great pleasure that Umeå University invites you to the ‘Metabolomics in Life Science’ conference, highlighting the latest advancements, breakthroughs, and applications in the field of NMR- and MS- based metabolomics research in Sweden/the Nordics and beyond. The conference will bring together researchers from around the world and serve as a platform for participants to share their knowledge, present research findings, and engage in insightful discussions in the metabolomics area. Attendees can expect presentations covering many aspects of metabolomics, from precision medicine, plant metabolomics to the use of advanced computational/AI strategies within the field. The wide range of techniques and application areas aims to spark interesting scientific discussions, high-light synergies between different technologies/application domains and form new collaborations.
The conference is a joint effort between two SciLifeLab units located in Umeå, the Swedish NMR Centre (SNC) (NMR Core facility (umu.se)) and the Swedish Metabolomics Centre (SMC) (Swedish Metabolomics Centre - Home). Also participating in the organisation is the Computational Analytics Support Platform (CASP) (Computational Analytics Support Platform (CASP) (umu.se)), based at Umeå University.
We have a panel of six outstanding keynote speakers from different universities and fields within metabolomics. In addition to the scientific program, the conference will feature industry exhibitions, where leading companies will present state-of-the-art technologies, products, and services related to metabolomics research.
