Welcome to the first Neuroimaging Methods Symposium (NEMES): Insights and Advances in Neuroimaging Methodologies
Date: 24-26 September, 2025
Venue: Clarion Hotel Draken, Göteborg
This upcoming three-day symposium aims to establish a network of neuroimaging experts across Swedish institutions. The program features expert talks on key neuroimaging methods, hands-on workshops, and focused discussions. Through interactive discussions and practical sessions, participants will engage in in-depth exploration of theoretical frameworks and practical applications, with a focus on skill development and knowledge transfer.
The symposium goes beyond a simple conference. NEMES aims to unite researchers in developing standardized methodologies and addressing key challenges in brain imaging research, laying the groundwork for more robust and reproducible neuroimaging research.
Everyday will feature opening and closing plenary sessions, that all participants are welcome to join. The rest of the days will be divided into parallel sessions, featuring one strategic discussion session (SD), and two parallel workshops (WR). Workshops are tailored to different level of expertise, from true beginners (no prior experience in neuroimaging) to intermediate/advanced users.
The symposium marks the beginning of a sustained collaborative network that will strengthen Swedish neuroimaging research and foster excellence in the field.
