Workshop on future technologies and development of DBS screening programs
Two years ago, our colleagues from the Norwegian DBS NBS team held a stimulating two-day meeting in Oslo on the topic of new technologies in newborn screening. This friendly informal meeting was followed by another in the same spirits last year, hosted by the Slovenian DBS NBS team in Ljubljana. Since we celebrate 60 years of DBS NBS in Sweden 2025, and really appreciated the format of these two meetings, we decided to arrange a similar meeting here in Stockholm, Sweden this year.
The format this year is slightly different. There will be a larger symposium day one, commemorating 60 years of DBS newborn screening with lectures on different aspects of DBS NBS, followed by a smaller, more informal, day two with short talks and more focus on questions and discussions. We think that we, together with our colleagues here and in the DBS NBS teams in Oslo, Ljubljana, and Copenhagen as well as the invited speakers, have put together an interesting program and hope that you will join and contribute to a stimulating conference.
