Transport information from Arlanda airport to the city centre

Arlanda Express: The best option is the Arlanda express train, which takes you to the city centre. The platform is easily accessible from the airport, underneath the arrival terminals. Departures every 15 minutes (for most of the day). Travel time: 20 minutes. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the train terminal to the recommended hotels. Standard fare for Arlanda Express one-way 299 SEK; return 579 SEK. Purchase tickets online or at machines at airport. Reductions if 2 or more people travel together. (There is an extra surcharge if you purchase tickets on board train). 

Taxi: Travel time from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to the city centre is approx. 40 minutes, depending on the time of day. Please ask for the fixed rate to the city centre. The fare should not exceed 700-750 SEK. Since taxi fares in Sweden are not regulated, prices can vary significantly between companies.
