SNÄFF (Sveriges Nätverk för Fästing Forskning) - Swedish Network for Tick and Tick-borne Pathogen Research) is committed to bringing young scientists and senior researchers together to discuss their current research and build informal networks with their peers that may lead to fruitful collaboration and scientific achievement. The conference language is English.
All participants are most welcome to present their on-going projects or project plans. Especially PhD-students and post-docs are encouraged to present their work. As usual, the meeting will be of an informal character, with no abstracts posted electronically. Furthermore, participation is by invitation only and no public web-page is available. All research communicated during SNÄFF should be regarded as internal communication meaning that the participants are neither allowed to record or take photos during the scientific sessions, nor cite results presented. All participants who want scientifically contribute with a presentation, either oral or poster, should submit an abstract no later than 15 January 2025. The scientific sessions will thereafter be put together and sent out to all registered participants after the registration deadline, based on the submitted abstracts. The time frame for an oral presentation is approximately 15-20 min including discussion, depending on the number of contributions submitted. Please see more information in the menu.
You are kindly invited to the annual meeting of the SNÄFF, which will take place in Ystad the 1 - 3 April 2025 from lunch Tuesday to lunch Thursday. The picturesque city of Ystad is located 35 km east of Malmö, in the southern part of Skåne, easy to reach, only 45 min by train från Copenhagen Airport Kastrup. You are most welcome to put this invitation forward to fellow research colleagues.
The conference will be arranged at Ystad Saltsjöbad wonderful located next to the sea.
The conference fee will be SEK 3950 + tax. The fee includes scientific program, all meals, and social activities. In addition, you can make your room reservation at one of our pre-booked hotels upon registration. Accommodation is not included in the fee.
Last date for registration: 31 January 2025. Please note that the number of seats are limited so we recommend early registration.
