Helsingborg is on a journey to decarbonize its energy supply. Recycled energy in district heating and cooling networks gives the city a small carbon footprint and creates jobs, tax money and corporate advantages. This expert seminar in English will address how recycled energy, waste and water is emerging as key drivers in a local, circular economy and as building blocks for truly sustainable solutions.
Welcome to Filborna EfW Plant in Helsingborg on the 29th of June 09.00-15.00.
During this seminar you will learn how this is done and hear directly from cities in Europe and North America about their work and progress to reduce CO2 emissions. Answering the call, a competence centre and business hub is planned in Helsingborg, focusing on solutions and know-how to speed up decarbonisation of city infrastructures. The centre will be connected to similar hubs across Europe and beyond.
This seminar is a must for professionals engaged in developing sustainable cities – political decision makers, city planners, developers, suppliers of technologies and services, universities & colleges as well as investors and financial institutions. The seminar will offer plenty of opportunities for networking activities, a string of highly focused, know-how workshops after lunch followed by dinner later in the evening. And don’t miss the study visit at the Filborna EfW plant, one of the world’s most efficient of its kind.
Welcome to this powerful seminar about one of the keys to Europe's future fossile freedom!
