Welcome to the International Fundraising Skillshare
24th - 25th October 2023, The Future of Fundraising
REGISTRATION CLOSING 16.10.23
The International Fundraising Skillshare is back and in person! For the first time the event is being held outside of Europe and whilst it was great to have everyone join us online in 2021, we know the power of connection in person is vital to our work across the Movement. We welcome you to join us in Amman, Jordan for two days of learning, collaboration and skill sharing with colleagues from the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
The Virtual Fundraising Hub aims to develop international fundraising skills by providing participants with vital new skills and ideas and empowering them to fundraise for the future.
This global event is an opportunity for fundraisers from across the Movement to come together to share knowledge and skills, as well as to network to develop fundraising capacity of their National Societies. The event will feature a number of sessions on various topics such as digital fundraising, individual fundraising, corporate fundraising, financial sustainability, to name but a few. A more detailed programme will be announced as it develops, but expect inspiring sessions, networking as well as informal social activities and cultural excursions, all included in the ticket price.
Early bird: EURO 1050 (Please note all prices include VAT)
Due to the success of the event and the support from National Societies, we are pleased to extend the early bird discount.
Please note from 05.10.23 only payment by credit card is available as we need to ensure all fees are paid prior to the event. Registration closes 16.10.23.
The ticket price includes accommodation and activities, including a welcome reception, hotel accommodation (B&B basis) x 3 nights in the 5* InterContinental Amman hotel, meals during the event, and travel to and from the airport as well as any off site activities. The Virtual Fundraising Hub cannot, however, cover flight and visa costs to the event but WILL support visa administration queries. Any meals or transportation outside the official programme are not covered.
Objectives of the event:
- Movement components share and promote examples of fundraising initiatives that others can learn from, including different levels of expertise;
- Motivate and inspire fundraisers in the Movement about the work we do, while ensuring diversity of attendees and speakers, with representatives from National Societies across the globe;
- Provide a platform for the regional, sub-regional, and content-specific fundraising networks to meet, share knowledge and build their visibility across the Movement;

About the Virtual Fundraising Hub:
Created in 2017 as a deliverable of the Movement-wide Principles for Resource Mobilization, the Resolution CD/17/R2, the Virtual Fundraising Hub (the Hub) is a joint initiative between ICRC, IFRC and National Societies. It brings together fundraising expertise from across the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement to maximise fundraising and coordinate support for National Societies’ fundraising capacity development.
