From the airport to the city you can take the bus or a taxi. The bus stands just outside the airport and will take you into the city in about 10 minutes. Click here for more information.
It takes roughly 25 minutes to walk from the city center to Umeå University. If you want to take the bus it takes about 8 minutes. The bus goes from the main bus station "Vasaplan" to "Universum" station which is just outside of Aula Nordica. You can take bus 2, 5, 8 or 9. The conference will take place at Umeå University in the Universum building, Aula Nordica auditorium.
