By Train

From Stockholm: ~ 3 hours SJ, VR

From Copenhagen: ~ 3.5 hours Öresundståg. The direct train from Copenhagen Airport to Gothenburg Central Station makes it easy to fly into Denmark and continue by rail.

From Berlin and Dresden: A night train service operates daily between Berlin and Stockholm, with some departures including Dresden. Operator: Snälltåget. From Stockholm you can catch the easy and frequent national service to Gothenburg.

By Bus

Long-distance buses connect Gothenburg with major Scandinavian and European cities, arriving at Nils Ericson Terminalen next to the central station.
