The 14th Symposium of the Japanese Scandinavian Radiological Society (SJRS) and the 17:th Nordic Japan Imaging Informatics Symposium

Prolonged registration!

Dear Community, Colleagues and Friends,

The Japanese Scandinavian Radiological Society is delighted to invite you to join us at JSRS “Progress in Radiology 2023“, which will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, May 30th— June 1st 2023.

After an initially postponed and then very successfully organized hybrid Symposium in Sapporo 2021, during the pandemic, we are excited to be able to meet face-to-face, under one roof, to learn about the latest developments in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and finally enjoy our host city of Stockholm!

What´s New This Year

Within JSRS we are always interested in the latest technology. To that end, we are excited to announce that all scientific presentations (oral abstracts and posters) will be fully digital. No more printing and schlepping bulky posters over the half the world!  Registration is open now and dead-line for Abstract submission is  set to the 15-th of March.

We will also have a theme for our Symposium, which this year will be “Radiology and Nuclear Medicine in the Era of Precision Medicine”. I expect that all of you will encourage our “old” and “young” community members to contribute and share their achievements with all of us during our Symposium.

The Symposium will start directly with a scientific session and all social activities are planned for two evenings, e.g. 30th – 31st of May. We also have a rare opportunity to visit CMIV in Linköping during the afternoon the 1st of June (optional). All these activities are included in the registration fee.

The congress venue is New Karolinska University Hospital and the accommodation Elite Hotel Carolina Tower is situated just 20 meters away. Our delegates will have the possibility to book their room for a reduced fee.

JSRS is a fantastic opportunity for all of us to meet, exchange ideas and forge new collaborations.

I count on all society members for being with us in Stockholm this year and to act as the Society´s ambassador of your respective institutions and hospitals to attract new colleagues and invite new members. Together we will make this event valuable for each delegate and our community.

I look forward to welcoming you to the JSRS 2023!
