Juteborg is a system design and innovation partner and a provider of JuTech™, high tech jute composites. Jute is very lightweight and since it can replace glass fiber as a reinforcement in many applications, the end product will be more Lightweight, how much depends on what material it replaces. Jute is also biodegradable, compostable and the process from farmer to factory is very manual and consumes very little energy. Jute is also a very fast growing crop, 120 days, and it binds a lot of Co2 every year.

Juteborg will be represented by Else-Marie Malmek, CEO at Juteborg

"Juteborgs goal to participate as an exhibitor is to” juteify” all the participants at the Lighter Conference, by sharing knowledge of the natural fiber of jute; “The Golden Fiber”, and by showcase some high tech jute composites; JuTech™, from our research projects, partly financed by the LIGHTER program. Jute is the most sustainable natural fiber in the world, but still very unknown. Most people thinks of sacks and ropes and don’t know that jute can be used in high tech solutions for e.g. the automotive industry, and replace glass fiber reinforcement in mould injected compostes."
