Helsingborg

Helsingborg offers a fantastic mix of big city and small-town charm, with beautiful beaches in the city center overlooking the Öresund Strait and Denmark.

The elongated, characterful inner city, stretching from Malmöleden in the south to Hälsovägen in the north, combined with a close experience of the sea and horizon, makes the city unique. The many meticulously pruned street trees and the extensive flower program are important hallmarks of the city. In the summer, the city center expands northward as Gröningen becomes a vibrant meeting place by the sea.

Helsingborg's foremost landmark is Kärnan, the medieval defense tower that has watched over the city for about 700 years and offers a magnificent view of the entire Öresund Strait.

The city is strategically located by the Öresund, serving as a gateway to the continent with a visual connection to Denmark. The sense of being in a port city is palpable, with lively ferry traffic docking directly adjacent to the city center. The beaches are like a string of pearls along the coast, some even located in the heart of the city.
