13:45-14:45 Seminar1: Circus 2 - a society development factor. In this seminar different aspects of social circus will be discussed and illustrated with presentations of projects in different contexts and societies.

Ida Davidsson, producer at Clownkliniken in Gothenburg & project manager at JONK! Performing arts, a platform working with the establishment of contemporary circus in the region of Jönköping
Kristin Rode, artist in Clownkliniken Gothenburg. Clownkliniken is an organisation of clowns working with children in need of hospital care and with elderly with dementia.
Ida Burén works as head of culture in the city of Borås. She was also part of funding and supporting the development of SenCirk’ when it started 2006 until 2013.
Will Borell (UK), Project and communication officer at Caravan Circus. Caravan is an international youth and social circus network fo circus schools across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, that advocates for the positive impact of youth and social circus as an educational tool.

Moderator:
Kasja Giertz, CEO of Cirkus Cirkör
Kajsa Giertz was CEO and Artistic Director at Helsingborgs Stadsteater until 2022 and before that at Västmanland's theatre. Between 2007–2009 she was the artistic director and operations manager at Parkteatern in Stockholm and has also worked as a director, choreographer, dancer and artistic director in various artistic platforms.
