Purpose
The CHSCOM2024 preconference offers junior scientists the opportunity to present their work in a supportive environment. Doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers working within Cognitive Hearing Science or closely related areas are welcome to submit an abstract for consideration for an oral presentation. All delegates at CHSCOM2024 are most welcome to attend and are encouraged to support and interact with junior scientists.

Abstract submission
There is a separate abstract submission procedure for junior scientists wishing to submit their work to the preconference sessions. If you wish your abstract to be considered both for the preconference sessions and for a poster presentation during the main conference, please tick the appropriate box during the abstract submission procedure.

Scholarships
There will be scholarships to for junior scientists to apply for to CHSCOM2024. To qualify for a scholarship, you must be able to demonstrate your status as a doctoral student or postdoctoral researcher, your abstract must be accepted for the preconference, you must personally make an oral presentation, and a mentor attending CHSCOM2024 must be identified. If you wish to be considered for one of these scholarships, please provide the necessary information during the abstract submission procedure.
