Villa Baiana

Situated in Monticelli Brusati in the province of Brescia, Villa Baiana is a structure immersed in a large country estate, surrounded by lush gardens and vineyards, which houses the Tenute La Montina wine cellar, a renowned Franciacorta brand.

The villa is distinguished by its elegant and refined architecture. It is a historical construction, with stylish elements typical of the era in which it was built.

The interior has been carefully restored and tastefully furnished, retaining the historical atmosphere of the villa.

Outside the villa, guests can enjoy ample green spaces, ideal for relaxing walks or outdoor activities, as well as taking a stroll through the surrounding vineyards to discover the area's agricultural environment.

A visit to the cellar is an extraordinary experience to discover the secrets of the Franciacorta method. Tenute La Montina has a storage capacity of around 3.000.000 bottles and covers 7.450 m² underground, which guarantees the lowest possible temperature range all year round (around 13°- 16°), the optimum condition for the proper maturation of Franciacorta wines.

The Estates house the first Museum of Contemporary Art in Franciacorta, as well as a permanent exhibition of the works of the artist Remo Bianco (Milan 1922 - 1988). His paintings, sculptures and works are arranged in the various rooms, from the cellar to the Villa, to clearly and comprehensively represent all the periods and pictorial messages of the artist. Cyclically, the Museum hosts solo exhibitions of national and international contemporary artists, whose works are brought to life in the inimitable museum itinerary that winds its way through majestic rooms, cellars, barrels and bottles resting on yeasts.
