The CFNE Event App

We have developed an Event App for you to use in Ottawa! Stored on the Event App is practical information including the agenda, breakout session rooms, hotel addresses and phone numbers, contact information, and more! We will be using this app to keep you updated on any changes that may come up, such as a change in room location or a reminder for an event. 

The Event App differs from other apps in that you don’t have to download it! In fact, it’s actually just a web link you can add to your smartphone’s homepage in a couple of easy steps.

iPhone

1. Open this link in “Safari” app on your smartphone: www.trippus.net/98w4e56y89w435t8j9
2. Tap the “Share” icon  at the bottom of your iPhone's screen. It will open a menu.
3. Scroll and tap “Add to Home Screen.” A dialogue box will appear.
4. Enter the name for the shortcut and tap “Add.” Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your home screen. 

Note: A pop-up window should appear on the bottom of your screen, pointing to the Share icon.

Android

1. Open this link in “Chrome” app on your smartphone: www.trippus.net/98w4e56y89w435t8j9
2. Tap the three-dot menu at the top-right corner. It will open a Menu.
3. Scroll and tap “Add to Home Screen.” A dialogue box will appear.
4. Enter the name for the shortcut and tap “Add.” The shortcut will now be visible on your home screen.

And you’re done! It’s that simple. Remember to refresh the Event App by pulling the screen down so you see all of our updates.
