Dear Associations!

We are truly looking forward to welcoming you to Gothenburg, the most sustainable city in the world, on the 3-4th of March 2020! The main theme of this meeting is Sustainable growth, a theme we have chosen because of our great responsibility as meeting ambassadors to manage our conferences in a sustainable way at all levels. 

Why attend?

The purpose of the meeting is to educate, inspire and support you in daring to bid for an international version of your congress.             

Past congress delegates mean that it is crucial that convention bureaus(CVB), professional conference organizers(PCO) and associations work together for future opportunities, and we experience a request for opportunities to meet and discuss common challenges.

We believe that many associations that want to arrange meetings have great knowledge in the content and also have the contacts needed to market the meeting, but often have limited experience of what is required and what timeline one needs to relate to. Regardless of whether it concerns a meeting organized by the association itself, or when cooperating with a CVB and a PCO.

We strongly believe that “Sharing is caring”, and therefore we will focus on sharing and transferring knowledge inbetween associations. As our theme is “Sustainable growth” we will also take the opportunity to inspire you by inviting both external and internal expert speakers within this area. In addition to the educational program you will get the chance to experience the beautiful city of Gothenburg.

We cannot wait to see you all here, convinced that you will enjoy your stay with us. Our ambition is that when you leave us, you will have met new friends, been inspired and have a lot of new knowledge to apply when moving forward.
