AB Ramantenn etablerades 1926 och har sedan dess arbetat med tillverkning / försäljning och Service av navigations/kommunikations teknik. Radiopejlsystem har varit en lång och stabil tillverkning ända fram till år 2000 då vi anpassade vår tillverkning till att omfatta AIS relaterade produkter som; Basstationer, Lotsväskor, AtoN system samt specialrelaterade AIS applikationer. Ramantenn är ett familjeföretag som under fyra generationer har utvecklats med och för fartygsservice i avsikt att tillhandahålla hög precision för navigation, lång driftsäkerhet samt högkvalitativ Service för våra produkter.
Högprecisions navigation och GPS är tekniker vi arbetat med sedan början av 1990 talet genom ett samarbete med Adveto där vi fortfarande har ett omfattande gemensamt intresse av att marknadsföra ett helsvenskt navigationssystem, ECDIS och ECS.
Vi utför utbildning i 'Ecdis Type Specific Training' för Advetos system auktoriserad av Adveto, samt 'Ecdis Generic Training' tillsammans med Sjösportskolan i Göteborg. Denna utbildning är godkänd av Transportstyrelsen och utförs enl. Model Course 1.27.
Simulatorträning för kustnära navigation i trånga farvatten där vi har två bryggor med bl.a. skärgårdsbåtar, lotsbåtar, bogserbåtar Kustbevakningsfartyg m.fl. för träning i BRM och SRM och inte minst övning vid dimma och dåliga väderkonditioner.
Ramantenn Service bygger på mer än 95 års erfarenhet av arbeten ombord på fartyg och båtar. Vi arbetar med de flesta system på bryggan beroende på vilka fabrikat det gäller.
Vi utför bl.a. Radiobesiktning GMDSS och är godkända av Transportstyrelsen, Lloyds Register samt Rina som Service Suppliers.
Vi utför Kompasscertifiering, reparationer, service och kompassjustering ombord.
AB Ramantenn is a niche company in fourth generation working mainly with the instrumentation on board ships and boats. Market has of course for such a long period of time been a huge development in terms of technology, production and services, even if this is not the same degree.
Since its inception in 1926 has the lead words in the company been; skills, innovation, quality, businesslike behavior and honesty. With hindsight, it can be concluded that this philosophy, the company has managed to well because it has been developed to keep pace with the times and the demand for goods and services.
The liner shipping market has led the development within the company and a broad experience and expertise within the working area has been collected over the years. Ramantenn has very reliable, faithful and talented employed and been able to strengthen its position on the market nationally but also internationally through contacts and good reputation that led to the possibility of sales and service of world leading make/manufacturers since the beginning of the 1970s.
AB Ramantenn has for several years been working with installations of radio communications on board ship and personnel for the radio inspection and control of safety equipment on board. Ramantenn is certified by Lloyds Register for installation work and Radio Survey. Personally signed Radio Surveyor in respect of Radio surveys and the flags of procedures which provided a good insight into the LR:s, TSA and RINA documentation as well as the adoption of procedures and inspection documents.
The reference may be mentioned that for many years we have also been involved in Escort towing technology and the development of systems adapted for this type of towing. First vessel (1985) for our part were B/B BOSS (Svitzer) where we were supplier of all the electronics and navigation equipment inc spec. systems for Escort towing. We then very gratifying to have been involved in the Survey on board at the most Escort tests and trials carried out by specialized tug boats in the Skagerrak and Kattegat including in connection with the Survey LR.

AB Ramantenn has a conscious concentration on the known world-leading brands and their products where the procedures for warranty repairs are included for our principals.
