The Brooks Race Getaway

Competition to win a weekend away including entry for you and your running partner to a Brooks partnered race.

  1. Introduction
  1. The Prize Draw is organised and run by Brooks Sports Ltd. (“Brooks”), who can be contacted at Eagle Court 2, Hatchford Way, Birmingham, B26 3RZ, United Kingdom. 
  2. By entering this Prize Draw you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) and any decisions reached by Brooks, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Prize Draw.
  3. The Prize Draw starts at on 16th April, 2024 (GTM) and ends on 24th May 23:59, 2024 (GTM) (the “Prize Draw Period”).
  1. Who can enter this Prize Draw?
  1. Participants must:
  2. Be residents of, with a postal address in The United Kingdom or Ireland.
  3. Be aged 18 or over.
  4. The Prize Draw is not open to directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Brooks, any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Brooks, or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Prize Draw, or their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  5. By entering the Prize Draw you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current, and complete. Brooks reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify a participant for submitting false information.
  1. How does the Prize Draw work?
  1. To be eligible to enter the Prize Draw during the Prize Draw Period, participants must:
  2. Purchase a pair of Adrenaline GTS 23 or Ghost 15 either via the Brooks website (https://www.brooksrunning.com/en_gb or https://www.brooksrunning.com/en_ie) or via a Brooks stockist either in-store or online. All Brooks stockists can be viewed on the store locator here: https://www.brooksrunning.com/en_gb/store-locator/
  3. Enter the Prize Draw by completing the form via the following URL: https://www.trippus.net/TheBrooksRaceGetaway
  4. Each participant can enter the Prize Draw once. Only the first Entry by each participant will be accepted and will constitute a valid Entry.
  5. All Entries must be received by Brooks during the Prize Draw Period, or they will be void. Brooks will not accept responsibility for:
  6. Prize Draw Entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or any change in dates, times or cancellations or other arrangements that may prevent a winner from accepting, taking or using a prize.
  7. On or after 24th May 2024, 1 individual winner will be selected by Brooks to win a weekend away including entry for the individual and one other person of their choice to a Brooks partnered race, a Brooks running outfit, travel, pre-race dinner and a hotel stay for 1 night.
  8. The winner will be selected via a random generator from all valid entries.
  9. The winners will be notified on or after 24th May, 2024 via the email address they used to enter the Prize Draw.
  10. The Prize must be claimed in accordance with the instructions in the Notification message, within ten (10) days of the Notification (the “Claim Period”). In order to receive their Prize, the winners will also need to provide Brooks with any further information requested by Brooks, in accordance with the instructions set out in the Notification within this Claim Period. Failure to claim the Prize in accordance with the instructions in the Notification within the Claim Period will result in the forfeit of the Prize and an alternative winner will be chosen.
  11. The winner may be required to provide Brooks with proof of identification in order to verify compliance with the eligibility requirements for the Prize Draw.
  12. If any winner is found to be ineligible or fails to comply with the Terms, then that winner may, at Brooks’ sole discretion, be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. This will also be applied to team entries.
  1. What is the Prize?
  1. There will be one individual winner total. This winner can then select another individual of their choice to win the following prize:
    1. Entry into a Brooks partnered race for the winner and their running partner of choice, including:
    2. Any RunThrough event in 2024 after 1st August. Events listed here: https://www.runthrough.co.uk/events-timeline/
    3. Or a Great Run event in 2024, including: Great Run South, Great North Run, Great Scottish Run or entry to one of their 2025 races including: Great Birmingham Run, Great Bristol Run or Great Manchester Run. https://www.greatrun.org/
    4. A running outfit worth £500 for the winner and their running partner of choice including a Brooks speed shoe, including: Hyperion, Hyperion GTS, Hyperion Max or Hyperion Elite (subject to availability).
    5. Travel to and from the race.
    6. Hotel stay for 1 night (up to £300).
    7. Pre-race dinner (up to £100).
  2. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and have a cash value of zero. Prizes are for personal use only and are not for resale. Prizes may be forfeited in the event that Brooks determines that the prize is being misused. 
  3. Brooks reserves the right to substitute a prize with another of an equal or greater value at its absolute discretion.

  1. Brooks reserves the right to amend the rules of the Prize Draw, to withdraw the Prize Draw at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable, or to cancel the Prize Draw in the event of non-compliance with these Terms.
  2. Brooks will use your personal details to contact you for administrative purposes relating to this Prize Draw.
  3. Brooks will keep your personal information safe and will use your personal information in accordance with the privacy policy available on its website (https://www.brooksrunning.com/en_gb/privacy/privacy-policy/)
  4. The decision of Brooks regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  5. Any cancellation or changes will be posted on the relevant Prize Draw landing pages, as set out in clause 3c.
  6. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, Brooks is not liable for, and you release Brooks from, liabilities relating to any direct or indirect loss or damage which is suffered as a result of entering the Prize Draw, failing to win, winning, accepting, or using a Prize.
  7. This Prize Draw is run by Brooks, it has no affiliation with any other partner Brooks has a relationship with. Any complaint about the Prize Draw should be directed to Brooks. If you require any help or have any enquiries relating to these Terms, please contact Brooks at the address above.
