THE BROOKS PARKRUN RAFFLE COMPETITION 2026

TO WIN A PAIR OF BROOKS SHOES (THE “PRIZE DRAW”)

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Participation and /claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.  

The Promoter:

  1. The Prize Draw is organised and run by Brooks Sports B.V.  (“Brooks”), who can be contacted at 33 Olympisch Stadion, 1076 DE, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
  2. By entering this Prize Draw you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) and any decisions reached by Brooks, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Prize Draw.

Promotional Period:

  1. The Prize Draw starts at 00:00 on 2nd March 2026 and ends at 23:59 (CET) on 31st December 2026 (the “Prize Draw Period”).

Eligibility: Who can enter this Prize Draw?

Participants must:

  1. Be residents of, with a postal address in, The Netherlands.
  2. Be aged 18 or over.
  3. The Prize Draw is not open to directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Brooks, any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Brooks, or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Prize Draw, or their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. By entering the Prize Draw you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Brooks reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify a participant for submitting false information.

Entry Instructions: How does the Prize Draw work?

  1. No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw and entry is free.
  2. To be eligible to enter the Prize Draw during the Prize Draw Period, participants must:
    1. Participate twice at a parkrun in the Netherlands in one calendar month during the Prize Draw Period. A participation can be seen as running/walking or volunteering at a parkrun in the Netherlands.
    2. Enter the Prize Draw by completing the Prize Draw form online via the URL listed below:

  3. Entry forms must be completed before the end of the Prize Draw Period.
  4. Each participant can enter the Prize Draw once. Only one entry by each participant will be accepted and will constitute a valid Entry.
  5. All Entries must be received by Brooks during the Prize Draw Period, or they will be void. Brooks will not accept responsibility for:
    1. Prize Draw Entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, because of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
    2. Any change in dates, times or cancellations or other arrangements that may prevent a winner from accepting, taking, or using a prize.
  6. On the last day of every month up until the 31st of December 2026, two individuals will be selected by Brooks to win a pair of Brooks shoes (excluding the Hyperion Elite Series) subject to availability (see no. 6 clause below) from all valid entries that have been submitted up until that point of time and that qualify under the participation requirements for that particular month, using a random computer-generated process.
  7. The winners will be notified during the first week of the new month via the email address they used to enter the Prize Draw (“Notification”).
  8. The Prize must be claimed in accordance with the instructions in the Notification message, within ten (10) days of the Notification (the “Claim Period”). To receive their Prize, the winners will also need to provide Brooks with any further information requested by Brooks, in accordance with the instructions set out in the Notification within this Claim Period. Failure to claim the Prize in accordance with the instructions in the Notification within the Claim Period will result in the forfeit of the Prize and an alternative winner will be chosen.
  9. The winners will receive the Prize within thirty (30) working days of the date they provide Brooks with the information requested in the Notification (as mentioned on point 7 above).
  10. The winners may be required to provide Brooks with proof of identification to verify compliance with the eligibility requirements for the Prize Draw.
  11. If any winner is found to be ineligible or fails to comply with the Terms, then that winner may, at Brooks’ sole discretion, be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. This will also be applied to team entries.
  12. By entering the competition you are consenting to Brooks sharing confirmation of your entry with parkrun, and subsequently parkrun collating and sharing entrants’ participation data (running, walking and volunteering) with Brooks for the duration of the competition.

Prize Fund: What is the Prize?

  1. There will be two winners each month, up until the 31st of December 2026.
  2. Each winner will win 1 pair of Brooks shoes chosen by the winner, subject to availability (excluding the Hyperion Elite).
  3. The choice of shoe size and colour of the Prize is subject to availability. 
  4. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and have a cash value of zero. Prizes are for personal use only and are not for resale. Prizes may be forfeited if Brooks determines that the prize is being misused. 
  5. Brooks reserves the right to substitute a prize with another of an equal or greater value at its absolute discretion.  

General:

  1. Brooks reserves the right to amend the rules of the Prize Draw, to withdraw the Prize Draw at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable, or to cancel the Prize Draw in the event of non-compliance with these Terms.
  2. Brooks will use your personal details to contact you for administrative purposes relating to this Prize Draw.
  3. If you have elected to be added to Brooks’ email database, you will also receive promotional emails with offers, news, products and information. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  4. Brooks will keep your personal information safe and will use your personal information in accordance with the privacy policy available on its website (https://www.brooksrunning.com/en_nl/privacy/privacy-policy/)
  5. Each winner’s first and surname will be made public. Each winner will have the right to object to this information being published or to request a reduction in the amount of information being published. Brooks may be required to provide this information to the relevant regulatory authorities.
  6. If you are a winner of the promotion, you agree that Brooks may use your name to announce you as the winner of this promotion and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes or publicity in connection with the promotion without any fee being payable. 
  7. The decision of Brooks regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  8. Any cancellation or changes will be posted on the relevant Prize Draw landing pages.
  9. Except for liability which cannot be excluded by law, Brooks is not liable for, and you release Brooks from, liabilities relating to any direct or indirect loss or damage which is suffered as a result of entering the Prize Draw, failing to win, winning, accepting or using a Prize.
  10. This Prize Draw is run by Brooks, it has no affiliation with parkrun, and they have no liability whatsoever for the running of this Prize Draw. Any complaint about the Prize Draw should be directed to Brooks.   11. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
  12. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the state of Washington, USA law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seattle, Washington, USA.
