National Doctoral Programme in Infection and Antibiotics (NDPIA)
NDPIA is a national program managed by Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden (MIMS) and funded by the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet). NDPIA connects research environments studying infection biology and antibiotics within Sweden in part by offering courses/workshops that promote research and recruitment of young scientists to these areas of research.

Svenska Föreningen för Mikrobiologi (SFM) - The Swedish Society for Microbiology is a life science membership organization for individuals interested in microbiological sciences and promotes progress and growth in microbiology in Sweden by being a vehicle for development of high quality fundamental and applied research among Swedish microbiologists.

The Laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden (MIMS)
An international institute at Umeå University that enhances the dynamic field of molecular infection biology and medicine. Research at MIMS focuses on how viruses, bacteria and parasites cause disease and how their hosts respond to infection.
