GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION
 

Layout and Format

Each poster presenter will be provided with a 1,000 mm (width) x 2,000 mm (height) poster board (poster dimension according to A0-format) and an ample supply of push-pins. The board will be labelled with the preassigned id-number. Please observe that all posters should have a portrait layout in order to fit the poster board, and be in the format (width x height) 841 mm x 1,189 mm.
 

Uploading Your Poster to the Congress App

The deadline for uploading your poster is Monday August 12th, 23:59 CEST. It is essential that your poster is uploaded by this date to ensure all preparations can be completed before the congress begins.

Here's what you need to know about uploading your E-poster:

Instructions for E-Poster Creation:

  1. Choose one of the provided templates to start your E-Poster. Your final presentation should be a single-page PDF without moving content.
  2. If not using a template, ensure your E-Poster is 1080x1920 pixels or set to 62.26x110.69 cm in PowerPoint.
  3. To convert your PowerPoint to PDF, go to File -> Export, select PDF format, and save.
  4. For Large Files: If your PDF exceeds 20 MB, reduce the file size via PowerPoint by duplicating your file and using File > Compress Pictures. Choose either 'Print' or 'On-screen' quality, then save as PDF again. Ensure image resolution remains high.

Presenters are responsible for posting their materials on poster boards on:

Poster Presentations

Throughout the Congress there are following poster sessions:

Monday August 19th 13.00-14.00 and 15.30-16.30
Tuesday August 20th 13.00-14.30 and 15.30-16.30
Wednesday August 21st 13.00-14.00

The poster exhibition will be in Hall D. It is important that you are present during this time slot, to answer questions.

Authors are also encouraged to bring reprints for distribution during the sessions and may also bring sign-up sheets for attendees who wish additional information.

Please note that any posters still on the poster board after 14.00 on Wednesday, August 21 will be discarded.

GUIDELINES FOR 15 Minute ORAL PRESENTATION


General Instructions

Each presenter will be given a time slot of 15 minutes in total, which is distributed as 10 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of answering questions from the auditorium and changing of presenters at the podium, or sometimes depending on the Session chairs and how they want to run the session. As the schedule of presentation sessions is tight it is of utmost importance that all presenters are ready and in time for their presentations. The introduction of each presenter will be kept brief when introduced by the moderator. In order for the audience to move between sessions we will keep the schedule starting time for each presentation even if the previous author do not require the full 15 minutes allowed.

All oral presenters/speakers are advised to upload any slides/PowerPoint Presentations you will be showing during the congress in advance to a Dropbox

Technical staff at the venue will prepare all oral presentations in advance by making sure that the scheduled presentations are available on the presentation computer in respective conference room in good time for the presentations. To make sure presentations run smoothly during the sessions you are expected to use the computer provided by ISPCAN while giving your presentation. There will be a “Speaker Ready Room” at the venue with administrative and technical staff who will answer questions you might have and provide service and help when needed. In the “Speaker Ready Room” you may also preview your presentation on a computer with the same setup as the one used in your session. If you have any questions or need of help, please contact our Congress Organizer Travel Team.


GUIDELINES FOR SYMPOSIA


General Instructions

The duration of the symposia is 90 minutes. A symposium is a topical presentation with 4 papers that address a common theme. Each symposia require a minimum attendance of 4 Presenting Authors. Each symposium requires a Corresponding Author to act as session chair/convener and who is responsible for keeping time.

GUIDELINES FOR WORKSHOP


General Instructions

A workshop is a 60-minute session involving interactive learning and the building of new skills. Abstracts intended for workshops should include skill-based learning objectives and describe how interactive learning will be incorporated.

GUIDELINES FOR MASTER CLASS


General Instructions

Master classes (2 hours) are meant to give attendees a new skill or deep understanding of a methodology, practical skill or new concept. You must have expert level instructor expertise.  Please provide CV, learning objectives, an overview of 2-hour master class, and level of course.  Overall plan should also include references and build in interactive/ question & answer period(s).
