1. City of Malmö: The Southern shipyard basin
The City of Malmö invites you join a study visit to Southern Shipyard Basin, one of Malmö's oldest and most central shipyard areas. Though closed for a century, this site is gradually transforming into a vibrant part of central Malmö, with new residential, office and public spaces. We will explore examples of this redevelopment and discuss how the former deep shipyard basin has been reimagined as a shallow sea area where eelgrass and fish are returning, and share insights into working respectfully and curiously with this unique and significant part of Malmö's history. Malmö has successfully reconnected the city with the sea.

2. World Maritime University (WMU)
The study visit to the World Maritime University (WMU) will include a tour of the University's extraordinary headquarters building and a presentation about the mission and work of the University.

3. Copenhagen Malmö Port
The study visit to Copenhagen Malmö Port’s terminals in Malmö will give first-hand insights into the commercial port operations in Malmö. The Danish-Swedish venture Copenhagen Malmö Port AB (CMP) is the largest port company in the Öresund region and provides efficient transport service in one of Scandinavia’s most dynamic and expansive markets.
