Sheilagh Hodgins

Sheilagh Hodgins is a well known professor, researcher and writer within the field of forensic psychiatry. She currently works in MontrĂ©al and has been affiliated to the Kings’s College in London, UK, and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. She has conducted studies in order to identify social, psychological and neurobiological factors that play a role in the etiology and maintenance of criminal behaviours. She is currently interested in the development of psychopathy and antisocial personality disorder and in individual and familial characteristics during childhood and adolescence, and how these are associated with criminal behaviours during adulthood.
