Introduction:
Patients with atrophic jaws and jaw defects after ablative tumor treatment and post-traumatic and congenital jaw deformities can be successfully rehabilitated by bone augmentation techniques and osseointegrated dental implants. Digitization and rapid prototyping technologies have enabled a new non-augmentative preprosthetic surgical treatment approach: Preprosthetic Individual Patient Solutions (IPS®). Unlike the old subperiosteal implants, these implants are additively manufactured from 3D imaging data and have a “one fit only” design with an unsurpassed primary stability due to rigid fixation.  The course will introduce the innovation and report first experiences over four years.

Fee: 1500 NOK excl. MVA
