What is the address of the venue?
STUDIO Meeting Point, Nordenskiöldsgatan 24, 211 19 Malmö, Sweden.

Do I need to register on site?
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the conference to register your attendance and collect your lanyard and drinks token.

I’m a virtual attendee. How do I use the site during the event?
You will see the main stage with a chat function below. Underneath this, there are the three breakout rooms which will be active during sessions. On the left-hand side of the digital platform, you will find “My page”. This will give you the opportunity to connect and network with other participants and view the full list of attendees.

Will there be media reporting on the conference?
No, media will not be reporting from the event. The event will be held under the Chatham House Rule, which says that:

“participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.”

In summary, participants are free to speak about what is said in conference sessions, but not who said it (or their organisation). This is to allow people to speak as individuals and encourage free discussion. You can find out more about the rule here. Better Cotton may wish to attribute quotes to speakers in post-event communications - if this is the case we will request specific permission from the speaker in advance of publication.

Can I share information from the sessions on social media?
Yes, please feel free to share information from sessions on your social media channels, as long as it doesn't attribute quotes to a person or organisation, as per the above rule. Make sure to use the hashtag #bettercottonconference

Is there a multi-media policy?
By registering for and attending this event, you consent to being photographed and filmed. While the principle purpose of this content collection is for use of Better Cotton, your entry constitutes your consent to such photography and videography, in all media in connection with the production presently entitled: “Better Cotton Conference 2022”. You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent given by you by entering the series.

How do I pay with AMEX?
If you need to pay with an AMEX card, you will need to do this when collecting your lanyard at registration.

Is there somewhere to store luggage onsite?
Yes, please speak with our event partner, Altitude Meetings on site to store your luggage in a locked room.

Are there COVID-19 restrictions?
In Sweden, there are no participant limits for public gatherings and events, and it is no longer mandatory to present vaccination certificates upon entry or wear masks in the venue. However, in the interest of keeping everyone as safe as possible, we ask attendees to take responsibility to protect yourself and others against COVID-19. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, whether vaccinated, or recently testing negative, please notify the venue, seek to get a test as soon as possible and limit your contact with others. If you are in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 during the conference, you do not need to isolate unless you feel unwell or test positive yourself.

Who do I notify in case of a change in allergy or dietary requirements?
Please email annie.ashwell@bettercotton.org as soon as possible to notify us of any change.

Is there a dress code?
We kindly request that attire for the conference is business casual and the evening dinner is semi-formal and fit for a summer evening in Sweden.

Will I be refunded if I can no longer attend the event?
If you are no longer able to attend the event as originally planned, you are welcome to transfer your registration to another colleague or partner at no additional cost prior to the event. Please e-mail support@trippus.se. If a transfer of your registration is not possible, Better Cotton is unable to offer refunds this close to the event.

For any further questions, please contact annie.ashwell@bettercotton.org.
