Excursions

During the excursion, we will visit different acid sulfate (AS) soil sites, including AS soils in peatlands, AS soils influenced by black shales (sulfidic material in till), sandy AS soils, clay/silt AS soils, and acid sandpits. We will also visit a site where precision chemical treatment of AS soils is being tested and a site where the primary focus is on investigating corrosion risks caused by AS soils.
