Daniel is holding a diploma in condensed matter physics and joined the power electronics industry in 2011. He held various positions in application engineering and business development for automotive and industrial applications. Dimosthenis Peftitsis
 
Dimosthenis Peftitsis is professor of power electronics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on gate-drive circuits design for SiC power semiconductor devices and the development of device models including real-time simulation models of power semiconductors.
 
 
 
 

Simone Rascunà
Simone Rascunà has been working in Research & Development at STMicroelectronics for High Power Devices since 2002. He has extensive experience in developing Silicon super-junction MOSFETs technologies and shifted his focus to compound semiconductors for High Power Applications in 2010. As an Advanced Research Senior Manager, he leads the design and development group for Silicon Carbide Diodes and has numerous papers and patents in the field of SiC devices, including the fifth generation of the MDmesh super-junction technology.

Elena Barbarini
Elena Barbarini, PhD is Business Line Director of the Manufacturing & Global Supply Chain activities at Yole Group. 
Based on extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, Elena manages the development of Yole Group's products and custom projects through a dedicated team of analysts. Previously, she has experiances at Alten, Osai, Vishay and IBN Singapore.
Elena holds a PhD in Power Electronics engineering and a Master in Nanotechnologies for ICT.
 

Christiam Gasparini

Christiam Gasparini is Business Development Manager at Innoscience Europe since April 2022, focusing on Wide Bandgap Gallium Nitride Power Semiconductor Solutions and its eco-system. He is an Electronic Engineer exceeding 20 years of experience including hardware, firmware, and software for complete products at OEMs and EMS, plus multiple other roles in the Semiconductor Industry from Application to Product definition and Strategic Marketing Management across Automotive, e-Mobility, Industrial, Renewables and IoT.


Kooros Moabber
Kooros Moabber is an accomplished professional with a Masters in Power Electronics, Telecommunication, and an MBA. With over 24 years of experience, his expertise lies in hardware and system design within the research and development sector of automotive manufacturers. 
 
 
 
 
 

Johan Hellsing
 
Recently joined the aerospace industry after many years as technical expert in the automotive industry. Area of interest is centered around the design of electric propulsion systems, but all systems integration topics related to vehicle electrification are highly relevant.
 
 
 
 
 

Thomas Gottwald

Thomas Gottwald began his career at Schweizer Electronic AG in 1991. He started as a project manager in Process Technology, was Head of Product Management and Director Innovations. Since 2021, he has been Vice President Technology, responsible for Front End, Product Management, Innovations and IP Management. In addition to his management role, his technical focus is on embedding technologies, power electronics, base materials and thermal management.

 


Jimmy Thörnberg
Jimmy Thörnberg, with a PhD in Material Science, joined the ranks of STMicroelectronics SiC R&D, Norrköping, in 2022 as an R&D engineer. Today he devotes most of his time on metrology, defectivity, crystal- and epitaxial-growth of SiC, as well as heavy emphasis on software development and modelling.
 
 
 
 
 

Anant Agarwal
Prof. Anant Agarwal joined The Ohio State University in 2017.  Previously, he was Senior Advisor at the US DoE where he helped create and manage PowerAmerica, From 1999 to 2013, he was R&D Manager for Silicon Carbide power devices at Cree Inc. He was elected an IEEE Fellow in 2012.
 
 
 

Martin Domeij
Martin Domeij received Ph. D. in 1999 from KTH in the field of Si and SiC power diodes. Between 2000 and 2011 he worked as with SiC power device research at KTH. In 2005 he started the SiC power device company TranSiC AB and acted as CTO until the Fairchild aquisition in 2011. He has since then been in Fairchild followed by onsemi where he is today Senior Director in SiC MOSFET R&D.
 
 

Konstantin Kostov
Konstantin Kostov received his M.Sc. and D.Sc. (Tech.) degrees from the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland, in 2003 and 2009. He is currently with RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. His interests include modeling, simulation, and control of power electronic converters, EMC in power electronics, and packaging of high-power semiconductor devices.

Shinsuke Harada
Shinsuke Harada is a Deputy Director of Advanced Power Electronics Research Center of National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Japan. His current research interests include WBG power devices development such as SiC SJ-MOSFET, power IC, and hybrid device with GaN.

Khizra Abbas
Khizra Abbas, an IEEE Student Member, is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in electrical engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. Her research interests include wide bandgap devices-based power electronics, autonomous gate drivers, high-efficiency, high-power-density power converters, and traction inverters for electric vehicle drive systems.

Victor Veliadis
Dr. Veliadis is Executive Director & CTO of PowerAmerica, a WBG power chip and electronics consortium. He managed a budget of $156M and currently works under a $64M renewal. Victor is an ECE Professor at NCSU, an IEEE Fellow, has 27 U.S. patents, 8 book chapters, and over 150 publications.

Rafal Kopacz
Rafal Kopacz is an Assistant Professor at Warsaw University of Technology. He was with SINTEF Energy and NTNU, Norway, in 2019, and PES, ETH Zurich, Switzerland, in 2023. His research interests include SiC-based power electronics, energy conversion in medium voltage range, power converters for EV fast charging stations, traction applications, and renewable energy sources.

Johan Ekman
Mr. Ekman is the founder and CEO of Kiselkarbid i Stockholm AB. Holds Master of Science degrees in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology and in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Engineering as well as an MBA from IBO

Shubhangi Bhadoria
Shubhangi Bhadoria has received Bachelors of Technology (BTech in Electrical Engineering) from NIT Bhopal, India and then, Masters of Science in Power Engineering from Technical University of Munich, Germany. She is working on the over-current capability of SiC converters and Power Flow Controllers for HVDC in collaboration with Hitachi Energy.

Young-jin Kim
Young-jin Kim is the Director and Head of the Revotech Research Center. Over the past seven years, he has conducted research focused on Advanced Driving Assistant Systems (ADAS), Vehicle Control Units (VCU), healthcare systems in autonomous vehicles, and FPGA technology. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Kyung Hee University, Korea, in 2001 and 2013, respectively.

Dieter Liesabeths
Dieter Liesabeths holds an Dipl.-Ing. (TH) electronic engineering degree from the university of RWTH Aachen and has over 30 years’ experience in semiconductor markets and working in the past 15 years in wide band gap application to transition the industry from Silicon to SiC & GaN.

Dr Dilder Chowdhury
Dr Dilder Chowdhury – Strategic Marketing Director:    Dilder Chowdhury is based in Nexperia’s Power GaN Technology HQ in Manchester, UK. Dilder received his PhD in III-V Semiconductor Device Technology at The University of Manchester. He has worked in semiconductor industries for over 25 years from Innovation to Marketing, first joining Nexperia’s Innovation team, then contributing to the release of Nexperia’s first Power GaN products as Architect for Power GaN technology, before his current role as Strategic Marketing Director for the Nexperia Power GaN Product group.

Saeed Akbari

Guoqi Zhang
Dr. G.Q. Zhang is a member of Netherlands Academy of Engineering, IEEE Fellow, chair professor for "Micro/Nanoelectronics System Integration and Reliability" of Delft University of Technology. His research interests cover multi-level heterogeneous system integration and packaging; multi-physics and multiscale modelling, optimization and DT of micro/nanoelectronics; WBS sensors and components. He worked for NXP Semiconductors as Senior Director of Technology Strategy until 2009, Philips Research Fellow until May 2013.
