For topics focusing on radiation oncology:
Acta Oncologica will offer a fast-track peer review process for approximately 30 authors whose abstracts are selected as the top submissions at the NACP symposium.
- Following peer review, around 15 full-length manuscripts will be published in a dedicated special issue of Acta Oncologica, showcasing current Nordic advances in cancer diagnostics and therapy.
- All submissions must align with Acta Oncologica's editorial scope, focusing on radiation oncology.
- The NACP Scientific Committee will select, pre-evaluate, and rank abstracts potential manuscript submission.
Article Processing Charge (APC):
- Detailed and updated information regarding APCs and discount eligibility is available on the journal's website, Publication Fees | Acta Oncologica
- Authors affiliated with institutions under publishing consortia agreements, such as for example certain Universities, may be eligible for waivers or reductions in APCs, in line with Acta Oncologica’s current policies.
- Corresponding authors who are members of national clinical physics associations under the NACP umbrella will receive a 30% APC discount.
- APC is not included in the registration fee for the NACP symposium. APC concerns only accepted and published articles, there are no submission fees or fees for rejected manuscripts.
