Stora Hotellet Umeå's oldest hotel and worth a visit! Stora Hotellet was built in 1889 and has operated as a hotel ever since. The hotell underwent a total renovation in 2014 but it's history lives on. Each and every room is uniquely decorated and no two rooms are alike. There is even a little library open for visitors to use. The hotel lies in the center of Umeå's Culture Center, Väven, and has put a large emphasis on locally produced, KRAV certified products. Comfort Hotel Winn This hotel is perfect for those who love having shopping just around the corner. Comfort Hotel Winn was built in 2013 and is located in the city center and is connected to the Utopia shopping center. Most of the rooms offer great views of downtown. The main bus station is located just outside the hotel entrace. Scandic Plaza Umeå At Scandic Plaza offers beautiful views of either the city center or Ume River. The hotel has a relax area and saunas available for guests located on the vew top floor with great views of the river. Bicylces are available to rent at the reception. Elite Hotel Mimer Elite has transformed a beautiful old school building from 1897 into Elite Hotel Mimer.
