Bringing people to Oslo from around the world to network and have face-to-face discussions about tropical deforestation is important, even in the day and age of online meeting tools. We do appreciate that organizing a big conference with international participants has an environmental impact. For the Oslo Tropical Forest Forum 2024, we have an ambition to reduce the carbon footprint as much as possible.
