Practical information

This year´s conference is arranged at Billingehus, in the heart of Western Sweden. Situated just an hour from Gothenburg, two hours from Stockholm, and 45 minutes from Jönköping, we hope this venue will be conveniently accessible to most of you.

Manufacturing R&D Cluster Conference registration update:

Travel:

• By car: If you travel by car, the facility offers a generous parking area with complimentary parking. Near the hotel, there is also access to a charging station for electric cars at a small cost.

• Shuttle-bus (free of charge for conference attendants):
  - Wednesday, May 22 (AM): There will be a bus at the train station at 8:30 AM for transportation to Billingehus. If additional trips are needed, the bus will go back and forth.
  - Thursday, May 23 (AM): There will be a bus at the train station at 8:30 AM for transportation to Billingehus. If additional trips are needed, the bus will go back and forth.
  - Thursday, May 23 (PM): There will also be a bus for transportation back to the train station around 4:00 PM. If additional trips are needed, the bus will go back and forth.

• Regular buses also run between Billingehus and Skövde Travel Center (Resecentrum), however, some of these buses are on-demand and need to be pre-ordered one hour in advance. Dinner:

We will be hosting a dinner in the evening of the 22 May. You may reserve your place upon registration. Remember to mention dietary requests. Lunch will be provided on both days, please let us know during registration if you would like lunch.

Study visits: 

This year we are offering study visits during break-out sessions, to Volvo and Aurobay. Spaces are limited to 25 participants, thus reserve your space as soon as possible but no later than May 6th. If the activity is fully booked, add your name to a waiting list and we will get back to you should a space become available.
