Scandic Rubinen - Conference venue

 

Located right on Gothenburg’s famous boulevard, Avenyn, Scandic Rubinen is a vibrant lifestyle hotel with a colorful, modern design and a popular rooftop bar offering sweeping views of the city skyline. Staying here means being surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and cultural attractions – all just outside the door.

For conference participants, a number of rooms have been reserved at Scandic Rubinen and can be booked through the registration system. The rates are SEK 1,250 per night for a single room and SEK 1,450 per night for a double room, VAT included.

 

Getting here from Gothenburg Central Station:

• On foot: The hotel is only about 1.5 km from the Central Station, a pleasant 15 minute walk straight along Avenyn.
• By tram: From Drottningtorget, just outside the Central Station, take tram line 3, 4 or 5 towards Korsvägen. Step off at Valand stop – only a couple of minutes’ walk from the hotel. The ride takes 5–7 minutes.
