Registration Categories and Fees

To promote equitable access, ICGE-2027 adopts a tiered registration model informed by the World Bank country income classifications and participant demographics.

Country eligibility follows the 2024–2025 income classification framework of the World Bank. See: official classification reference:  World Bank Country Classifications by Income Level (2024–2025) :

Important Note: The fees for Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), High-Income Countries (HICs), and Youth Delegates remain the same during both the Early Bird and Regular registration periods. A higher fee applies only during Late and On-site Registration. The fees shown include VAT.

What Your Registration Includes

All registered participants will have access to:

• The full ICGE-2027 programme, including Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Plenary Sessions, Parallel Sessions, Side Events, and High-Level Dialogues
• Access to specialized forums, networking sessions, and stakeholder roundtables
• Conference materials and digital access to the ICGE event platform
• Daily lunch buffet and coffee breaks on official conference days
• Opportunities to engage with global experts, partners, and decision-makers
• An official certificate of participation

Note: Conference Dinner (Optional)

Participants will have the option to attend the ICGE-2027 Conference Dinner, an evening of networking, cultural exchange, and professional engagement. Participation in the conference dinner is optional and subject to an additional fee, which will be indicated during the registration process.

Note: Registration does not cover travel, accommodation, visa costs, or related expenses.

Registration Policies

• All participants are required to register in advance via the official ICGE-2027 platform. On-site registration will be limited and subject to availability.
• Participation is subject to adherence to the ICGE Code of Conduct.
• All registration fees are strictly non-refundable in the event of cancellation or non-attendance. However, registrations may be transferred to another participant by contacting the ICGE Secretariat.
   
• Upon successful registration and payment, participants will receive a confirmation email, followed by an official letter of invitation.
• Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a registered guardian. Complimentary registration may be provided for one guardian where applicable.
• Children under 12 may attend free of charge when accompanied by a registered parent or guardian.
• Participants must present valid photo identification at check-in. Standard security screening may apply at the venue in Uppsala.
• In-person registration remains open until maximum capacity is reached. A waitlist will be initiated once the conference is full.

Accommodation and Logistics

Visa Information

Participants are encouraged to review Sweden’s visa requirements well in advance of travel. Official invitation letters for visa applications will be issued upon completion of registration and payment confirmation.

To support the visa process, participants may be required to provide:

• A valid passport
• Travel dates
• Accommodation details
• Registration confirmation

As visa processing timelines may vary across countries, early application is strongly recommended.
 

Accommodation

Participants will have access to curated accommodation options in Uppsala and surrounding areas, with negotiated rates for conference delegates. Further details will be shared via the official conference platform.

Transportation & Travel

Uppsala is easily accessible through Stockholm Arlanda Airport, with direct train, taxi, and public transportation connections to the city center and conference venues. Sweden’s public transportation system offers efficient, safe, and sustainable travel options for international participants.

Additional travel guidance, including local transportation information and venue access details, will be shared closer to the conference dates. For further assistance regarding visa support, accommodation, or travel guidance, participants may contact the ICGE-2027 Secretariat.
