Welcome to Department of Education and Special Education, where ECIDD 2025 will take place!

The Faculty of Education is situated in the centre of Gothenburg.
The faculty has around 3800 full-time students (about 8 200 individuals) and around 650 employees. There are four departments at the faculty, where you also find the unit for Pedagogical Development and Interactive Learning (PIL), the Unit for Academic Language (ASK) and CULF - a collaborative organisation with the graduate school CUL, and ULF (Development, Learning and Research) a national project commissioned by the Swedish government.
