Assessment, Intervention, and Accommodation for Increased Participation
We are excited to invite you to the 13th European Conference on Psychological Theory and Research on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ECIDD), taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden, from June 12–14, 2025, with a special focus on this year’s theme: "Assessment, intervention, and accommodation for increased participation." Hosted by the Department of Education and Special Education at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, ECIDD 2025 is organized by an international scientific advisory group in collaboration with the University of Gothenburg. This conference provides a unique platform to engage with the latest research advancements in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. In addition to the in-person conference, we are pleased to offer a hybrid format, allowing registered participants to attend presentations online. However, please note that presenting (whether as part of an oral presentation, poster or symposium) will only be possible for those attending the conference in person. We invite you to join the pre-conference workshops on June 11, 2025, providing additional opportunities for in-depth learning and discussion. The pre-conference workshops will not be available online. Established in 1996 in Aix-en-Provence, France, ECIDD has a long tradition of fostering international collaboration and advancing research on the psychological and educational aspects of intellectual and developmental disabilities. After a pandemic-related hiatus, we are pleased that the ECIDD conference is back to offer a forum for exchanging research findings aiming at extending our understanding of causes and conditions of intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as advancing our knowledge of successful prevention and intervention procedures. Save the date and join us in Gothenburg or online for this inspiring event! |
