This year’s theme is “World Heritage and Sustainable Development”, highlighting concrete examples of how World Heritage can contribute to societal development, resilience, and long-term value creation. Throughout the meeting, you will be able to take part in presentations, discussions, study visits and shared activities that reflect the breadth and depth of Nordic World Heritage work.

In 2026, the Nordic World Heritage Association celebrates its 10th anniversary. The network was founded in 2016 at the World Heritage Site Þingvellir National Park in Iceland and today brings together more than 40 Nordic World Heritage Sites.
