Main objective:
To review and critically discuss emerging new information on the integrated regulation of the enterohepatic circulation of bile acids and other molecules, its relevance in the pathogenesis of important disease entities, and how this new knowledge can be used to promote treatment and prevention of major public health problems.
Target audience:
Researchers at KI as well as at Swedish and Scandinavian universities. The truly translational approach of the conference should make it of particular interest to scientists trying to cross-fertilize basal and clinical studies. We expect to be able to attract a top selection of international scientists, thereby promoting ongoing and future collaborations of the highest standard.
