Nobel Symposium 175 was funded by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and organized by Richard Rosenquist Brandell, MD, PhD, Professor of Clinical Genetics, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden.

This symposium will focus on precision medicine in rare diseases, cancer, infectious diseases, and complex diseases and address a broad range of key aspects including development of new technologies, informatics solutions, diagnostic approaches and targeted therapies, based on discoveries in basic research. The symposium will also encompass precision medicine beyond genomics as well as international perspectives on precision medicine.
