We recommend that you read "Practical information" (top right corner) for more information.

The content includes lectures, interviews and discussions on the following themes:

Day one
(English spoken presentations)

Macolin Convention and International Cooperation
Sweden has signed and ratified the Macolin Convention in December 2024 (entry in to force April 2025). What expectations are linked to the signing and ratifying and what has this collaboration and the legal framework meant for countries that have previously joined the convention?

Illegal betting companies and its effect on sports integrity
The main driving force behind manipulation of sports results – match fixing – is money, and in particular gambling winnings from the betting market. Match fixers naturally want to make it as difficult as possible to detect their activities, and as part of this, they often use illegal gambling companies that do not cooperate or are required to cooperate with authorities in the same way as, for example, licensed gambling companies. What impact do these illegal gambling companies have on the integrity of sports and what measures can be taken to prevent these companies from continuing to feed the criminals' economy?

Day two
(Swedish spoken presentations)
Gambling problems among youth, a potential driver of sports crime
Sports are overrepresented among people who develop gambling problems and now the latest data from the school survey shows that gambling for money for people under the age of 18 is increasing. What is the relationship with gambling for athletes and what can we all do to prevent people from ending up with gambling problems and potential debt?

A more detailed agenda will be provided to participants closer to the event.
