CONFERENCE LOCATION 
The conference will take place at Hilton Stockholm Slussen which is situated between the Södermalm district and the historic Old Town. Nearby, the scenic walking paths along the waterfront invite you to enjoy the picturesque views of Lake Mälaren and the city skyline, providing a perfect backdrop for our conference. The venue is just a stone's throw away from the Slussen transportation hub accessible by metro/subway and bus.

GETTING THERE
For those traveling from Sweden, the most convenient way to get to the venue is by train to Stockholm Central, followed by metro/subway, taxi or a nice walk. 

 

INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS 
For international participants, we recommend flying into Stockholm Arlanda Airport and then going by train (Arlanda Express) to Stockholm Central, the journey takes 20 minutes. Once at Stockholm Central, you can take a taxi directly to the venue or use the metro/subway, either the green or red line towards Slussen.

ACCOMMODATION 
Accommodation is not included in the conference fee. 
The registrations will be handled by a travel agency (TM Event). Upon registration you will be able to book your accomodation.



GETTING AROUND 
From Arlanda Airport

The journey between Stockholm and Arlanda with the Arlanda express takes 18 minutes. The Arlanda express trains arrive and depart from platforms 1 and 2 at Stockholm Central Station. There is a waiting hall and a taxi terminal right next to the platforms. Tickets to Arlanda Express can be bought in their app, on the web (https://www.arlandaexpress.se/travelers), in a ticket machine or if you buy directly from their staff at Arlanda at baggage claim. On the web you can pay with card or swish, in the app you can pay with card, swish apple or google pay.

By Metro and train 
There is a manned barrier and automatic barriers at almost all of the stations. You can tap your contactless card to buy a single-journey ticket at the barrier. The default fare is SEK 42. The contactless card must be connected to one of the following card networks: Mastercard, Visa or American Express. Other ways to pay your tickets are with a pre-bought SL card or an app ticket. At all manned metro and commuter train stations, you can buy all types of tickets from the barrier staff. There are also many ticket agents around the county, such as Pressbyrån, grocery stores and kiosks. 


The journey home 
All great things has its endings, and so even the Beacon conference.  
From Stockholm central station there are two entrances that lead directly to the Arlanda express platforms: 

The first stop from Stockholm Central Station is terminals 2, 3 and 4 (Arlanda Södra). The second and last stop is terminal 5 (Arlanda Norra). Make sure to note what terminal you are flying out of.  


Scenic walking route 
If you have time the venue is about a 30-minute walk from Stockholm Central where you get to enjoy views of Stockholm City Hall, the parliament building (Riksdagshuset), The Old Town and the Royal Castle amongst other beautiful things.
