Reimbursment


Participants are kindly asked to book their travel well in advance, choose the most cost-effective economy-class option available, and pay for their travel expenses upfront.

Please note that reimbursement for travel between Oslo Airport Gardermoen and Holmenkollen Park Hotel will be provided for public transportation only; taxi expenses will not be covered.
Please retain all receipts.

Kindly upload all receipts as a single combined document when submitting the form.

Alternatively, a reimbursement form will be available at registration on 8 October. If using the paper form, the completed form together with all receipts must be sent by email to event@medvind.no.

The deadline for submitting reimbursement claims is 16 October. Reimbursements will be processed starting in week 43.

Conference venue and hotel

Scandic Holmenkollen Park is a destination in itself and one of Oslo’s and Norway’s most unique hotels. It rises 350 metres above sea level, with astonishing views of Oslo and Nordmarka forest right on the hotel doorstep. How to get there

From Oslo Airport (Oslo Gardermoen) to Oslo city centre

Oslo Airport (Oslo Gardermoen) is located approximately 50 km north of Oslo city centre. The easiest way to travel to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) is by train.

The Airport Express Train (Flytoget) departs every 10–20 minutes and takes around 20 minutes to Oslo S. Regional trains operated by Vy also run frequently between the airport and Oslo S, with a travel time of approximately 23 minutes.

Tickets can be purchased at ticket machines at the airport, via the Flytoget or Vy apps, or online in advance.

Scandic Holmenkollen Park Hotel is easily accessible by metro from Oslo city centre. The journey from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) to Holmenkollen station takes approximately 30 minutes. From Holmenkollen station, it is about a 10-minute walk to the hotel.

Please note that the metro stop closest to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) is called Jernbanetorget. When checking timetables, this is the stop you should use as your departure point.

Tickets can be purchased via the Ruter app on your mobile phone or as a physical travel card from a kiosk. Please remember to buy your ticket before boarding.

The metro departs every 15 minutes from Jernbanetorget. On weekdays, the first metro from Oslo to Holmenkollen departs at 05:07, and the last departure is at 00:37.
