Get a quick taste of the ICC’s Expedited Procedure Provisions (EPP) in practice |
| Description: |
The EEP offers a streamlined procedure with reduced scales of arbitrators' fees aimed at increasing efficiency in the resolution of disputes. Since the introduction of the ICC EPP in 2017, their use has significantly grown. In 2023, the expedited procedures were used in 189 cases. The ICC EPP generally apply to cases with disputes with a value of up to USD 3 million. The rules expressly invite and mandate tribunals to make a broader use of their discretion and authority to control the proceedings, adapt the procedure tailored to the dispute. Join the breakfast seminar to get insights into the extensive ICC practice with the EEP and discuss the key current issues. |
