WHERE WILL THE MICROSYSTEM FESTIVAL TAKE PLACE?
The Microsystem Festival will take place at Qulturum, House B4, County Hospital Ryhov in the city of Jönköping, Sweden

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND?
The price to attend is 2400 SEK per day. The pre-festival day, (Feb 26) cost 1500 SEK. At current exchange rates, 2400 SEK is approximately £207 (UK pounds sterling) or €233 (Euros) and 1500 SEK is £129 (UK pounds sterling) or €146 (Euros).

If you wish to attend all 4 festival days you will receive a complimentary discount of 1000 SEK (appr. £86 (UK pounds sterling) or €97 (Euros). 

You can pay with with either Credit Card (PayPal). 

 When the payment is completed, you will receive an email confirming your participation.

• The Microsystem Festival is a learning community. Our hope and goal is that all our lecturers will stay the entire conference and attend other seminars in order to learn more. Therefore one of the lecturers at each session will attend the day when he or she is presenting without cost.
• The evening buffet on day 1 is included in the fee and those attending day 2 only, are most welcome to attend the evening buffet on day one. Just make sure you register for it.

HOW CAN I REGISTER? 
Registration will open in December 2018. Further details on how to register will be posted then.

DO I AS LECTURER NEED TO REGISTER TO THE FESTIVAL?
As lecturer you still need to register to the conference. This is important for several reasons:

• We need to know which seminars you wish to attend other than your own and please make sure you also choose the seminar in which you are the lecturer.
• We need to know if you are attending the buffet and if you have food allergies.
• We need to know if you are staying the entire conference.

I'M ONLY ATTENDING THE DAY I'M GIVING A LECTURE AND I'M THE ONLY LECTURER IN MY SESSION. WHY DO I STILL NEED TO REGISTER MY INVOICE ADDRESS?
We still need to know your invoice address. This is merely a technicality which is needed for our customer database system. You will not be invoiced. (Note: this does not apply to seminars with more than one lecturer. Lecturer 2 and 3 etc will be invoiced).

 WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE FESTIVAL?
The dress code for the conference is smart-casual. Daytime temperatures range from -10C to +-0C in Jönköping in March. Remember that the weather in Sweden during early spring can be very unstable. Please take a look at the weather report (https://www.yr.no/place/Sweden/Jönköping/Jönköping/long.html) before you do your packing and remember to always bring a pair of sensible and comfortable shoes. The streets can be slippery and icy.

WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS? CAN I GET AN EXTENSION?
Submission to The Microsystem Festival - deadline is November 14, 2018.

WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT TO MAKE CHANGES AFTER I SUBMIT MY ABSTRACT?
After you submit your abstract you will not be able to edit or make changes to the proposal you have submitted. If you need to make changes, please send an e-mail to qulturum@rjl.se and we will give you further instructions. Mark you email: Abstract submission: Microsystem Festival 2019.

CAN I SUBMIT MULTIPLE PROPOSALS?
Yes. You are welcome to submit more than one proposal. Just fill out the form for each abstract.

WHEN WILL I HEAR BACK?
You will be notified of the results of your Microsystem Festival submission in late November 2018.

WHO IS ORGANISING THE CONFERENCE?
The conference is being organised by Qulturum, the development unit of Region Jönköping County, together with the International network of Clinical Microsystems.

WILL THE SESSIONS BE HELD IN ENGLISH?
The conference language is English. All the sessions will be held in English.

WHICH TARGET GROUPS DO THE CONFERENCE ADDRESS?
The Clinical Microsystem Festival is intended for you as a leader, CEO, improvement coach or anyone working to improve quality in healthcare. The Festival includes a Scientific Day on March 1, for researchers and those who are interested in advancing knowledge of clinical microsystems and quality improvement.

WHAT IS THE IMPROVEMENT SCIENCE DAY?
The Improvement Science Day is an extra conference day for researchers and those who are interested in advancing knowledge of clinical microsystems and quality improvement..

WHAT IS THE SESSION ROOM EQUIPPED WITH?

WILL MY PRESENTATION BE PUBLISHED ON YOUR WEBSITE?
Yes, all the presentations from the Festival will be published in PDF-format on our website. Please make sure that all sensitive data or photos have been removed before it is published. Please talk to our staff at the registration desk and they will assist you.

HOW DO I HAND IN MY PRESENTATION?
You can send your presentation in advance to qulturum@rjl.se. Mark you email: Presentation: Microsystem Festival 2019. You can also hand in your presentation at the registration desk when you arrive and we will make sure it will be ready on the computer in your session room when it is time for your lecture.

CAN I BRING MY PRESENTATION ON A MEMORY STICK?
Yes, this is fine. But always make sure you have a copy available on your email. Memory sticks are unfortunately easily broken and lost.
