Session 5. Strategy Session

  1. Strategizing for a cross-regional leadership group

Interactive discussion on ways of creating a leadership group of member states who wish to support a common CSE strategy in intergovernmental processes and build consensus on the linkages between CSE and the achievement of SDGs at country level, including through global intergovernmental processes.

  1. Strategy for intergovernmental engagement

Focus on addressing ways of ensuring the integration of national and regional priorities in global intergovernmental processes while taking into account the regional group system in the General Assembly. A Roadmap will aid the discussion.

  • Endorse the Roadmap and agree on joint engagement of the Network leading up to the Summit.
